If you are not a very experienced player then playing blackjack can be a daunting experience for you. You as a player are allowed to sit out a couple of times if you feel that you need a break or the dealer is on a lucky streak. Moreover, if the casino is having a busy time then you may be asked to vacate your seat to make place for someone else.

Once all the players have placed their bets then two cards are dealt to each player going from left to right. Several casinos deals these cards face up while others might do it face down. If done this way you are not supposed to touch the cards. If you do, you will be said to have been cheating. Each card has a certain value. The jack, king, and queen are worth a 10. The ace is worth a 1 or 11. All the other cards have a value according to the number they bear.
